![]() Pero pocos o ninguno ofrecen las caractersticas que tiene Ventoy. En este blog, a lo largo del tiempo hemos hablado de mucho software para hacerlo, como Popsicle o mkusb. The biggest difference I can see between Foxclone and Rescuezilla is the support for Foxclone AndyMH provides here on these forums and the complete directions one can get on Andy's website for downloading, installing, and using it, something that is rare for software anymore now. Cuando queremos probar o instalar una distribucin Gnu/Linux, la mayora de usuarios creamos un Live USB o USB de instalacin. Unlike Clonezilla, the images that Rescuezilla makes don't have permissions issues meaning I (and FreeFileSync) can easily copy them to other drives, both internal and connected via USB, making it easy to back up the images (yeah, even backups need to be backed up). Rescuezilla's GUI is easy to follow, unlike Clonezilla's nightmarish, unintuitive GUI. I also cloned a 4TB drive (with over 1TB of data on it) to an 8TB drive without any problems even the UUID cloned over, which meant I didn't have to horse around with modifying an fstab entry (I did have to expand the partition that was cloned to fill the other half of the drive but that was quick and easy using GParted). I have made numerous images without a problem and restored a few of them several times, also without trouble. Images of my boot drive (36GB of the drive being occupied) take Rescuezilla a bit less than five minutes to make from start to finish, resulting in a 16GB image (I use the default compression rate). ![]() However, Rescuzilla does easily and quickly image and clone on my computer. I haven't been able to try out Foxclone on my laptop thanks to its NVIDIA graphics card so I can't compare it with Rescuezilla. ![]() It is well designed and easy to figure out compared to Clonezilla that has bad graphics and a nightmare to figure out for someone who hasn't used them before. I used it to clone my system onto another disk and it worked great, I am just learning to do what needs to be done with theses distros. "Probably Better" is an understatement, I would say that it is the best so far, it has everything you really need. ![]()
